Hello friends,

Hope everyone is having a good summer!

It seems like ages since our focus was absorbed by small towns, werewolves, and the journey of our favorite twin podcasters. The making of Wayward Guide was a wonderful and chaotic time in our lives and we could not be more proud of how it turned out (thanks to you!). After the successful release of Wayward Guide on YouTube in Fall of 2020, we’ve been switching our focus from the webseries to our next stage project…

We’re excited to tell you about our newest endeavor, This Could Be on Broadway, a stage musical exploring the emotional turbulence & existential reckoning of high school students mounting their spring musical! We launched a Kickstarter campaign earlier this week to fund the first iteration of the show: a Staged Concert Reading that will be filmed and released as a Digital Event.

This Could Be on Broadway is written and produced by the creative team behind Spies Are Forever and Tin Can Sister, Lauren Lopez. From callbacks to the cast party, the stage will become a battleground for teenage aspirations and delusions, as romance emerges, egos flare, identities are threatened, and songs are poorly riffed. Think of it like A Chorus Line meets Spelling Bee meets Wet Hot American Summer… all with that signature Tin Can Bros absurdity!

Enjoying the Wayward Guide Series so far?? Well the weekly releases aren't done yet!

Today, we launch Chapter 1 of the Wayward Guide for the Untrained Eye Podcast! In case you forgot, in addition to the web series, we also produced an entire 11 episode podcast as a companion piece for the series. Released simultaneously, this is intended to be the ACTUAL in-world podcast that Artemis and Paul and making in the show! It provides new perspectives/context for certain scenes, additional moments with a number of characters, and a more comprehensive arc for the Schue-Horyn twins. We could not recommend it more if you want the full story!

While we're in our first week of release, it's super important that we have an impactful amount of impressions on the podcast so it reaches the widest audience possible and cracks that confounding algorithm! So how can you help us?? If you use either Apple or Spotify there's a few action items you can take to make sure Wayward Guide makes it's way to the top of the charts!
